WHAT IS LYKKE COFFEE CLUB?

Lykke Coffee club is a coffee subscription that makes it super easy to brew perfect coffee at home or the office. Just open the bag and brew the coffee with 5 dl of water. Lykke has grown, roasted, ground and calibrated so that all you have to do is pour and brew. 

HOW OFTEN DO I GET MY LCC DELIVERY?

Once a month. We send Lykke Coffee Club orders on the 7th every month.

WHAT COFFEE IS IN LYKKE COFFEE CLUB?

The coffee in LCC are favourites from our regular range mixed with small interesting batches when inspiration strikes. The coffee comes from our own and our like-minded neighbours' coffee farms. It is sustainably grown with a focus on flavour, quality and innovation. Freshly roasted in Hökarängen. We want every delivery from LCC to feel like a little Christmas and for you to experience new flavours and find new favourites.

 

ISN’T WHOLE BEAN BETTER THAN PRE-GROUND COFFEE?

That coffee tastes best freshly ground is a truth that can stand to be challenged. The fact is that the quality of the grinding also plays a big part in the flavour experience. A cheap consumer grinder doesn’t grind as evenly as  professional grinders. And if the grinder produces coffee where the grain size varies a lot, the coffee is brewed unevenly and not to its full potential.

The coffee in Lykke Coffee Club is ground right after roasting on our German super grinder, evenly and perfectly calibrated. We pack it immediately after grinding, with the addition of a small puff of nitrogen gas to take the oxygen out of the bag. Since the contents of each bag is used for a single brew, none of the aromas are lost as is sometimes the case with a continuously open "big bag".

 

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR BREWING OCCASIONS?

Since the coffee bags are ready and do not require grinding, measuring or any further handiwork at all, Lykke Coffee Club is perfect for many different occasions. In the summer cottage, on the roadtrip, picnic or the home office. Or even as a hostess gift when you are all out of wine?

 

HOW DO I BREW LYKKE COFFEE CLUB?

It is super simple to make perfect coffee with Lykke Coffee Club. You just empty the bag into your filter and pour on 5 dl of water. We have carefully calibrated both quantity and grind so that it tastes perfect. You can choose to brew in your favourite way. By hand or in the home brewer. Easy as pie!

 

CAN I RECYCLE THE LYKKE COFFEE CLUB BAGS?

We thought long and hard about packaging for LCC. Disposable packaging is seldom perfect from an environmental perspective. But at the same time, the amount of coffee that goes in the sink after each brew is also frighteningly large. Coffee that has been grown, roasted and brewed with care - but that is just thrown away. We hope that Lykke Coffee Club will be just the right amount for you to finish and that that will tip the scale in the right direction (without having to actually weigh anything on a scale) We also didn’t want to create a product that generates a lot of metal capsules or fossil plastics in nature, so the packaging for LCC is made of completely natural and biodegradable materials such as paper and corn. Ideal if you are a home grower with an active compost, or live in a municipality that has invested in industrial composting. The second best option is to recycle the bags as paper or sorting as combustible since the material has no toxic effects.

HOW IS MY SUBSCRIPTION DELIVERED?

Lykke coffee club deliveries are placed outside your door or in the mailbox by the postman once a month.

And since we want you to be able to flex your great taste in coffee, we have of course designed a nice box to store the bags in. You get the box at the first delivery, and subsequent deliveries are sent in a paper bag. This is the beginning of the rest of your coffee loving life.
